Ive just had a lovely message off the georgous Lara De-Leuw. It has been such a long time since we have done anything together as she is now such a busy lady and always in demand. However, tomorrow I get to help her with her latest and sadly last tour of Moonstruck Ltd. I will only be helping her with costumes and props I think but, to have an overdue catch-up with the face of Stoke (not confirmed) is brilliant.
Look out for this wonderful lady in Blood and Bone China. The series can be viewed via youtube!

I have been spending some time thinking over some possible script ideas away from those I am already helping with. I'm looking to do one that is of my own creation. The only problem I have is deciding what idea to go with. To make that final decision, I am finding myself doing alot of ground work and planning so that I can work out which idea is more viable than the rest. Either way I will keep you all posted.
That said, If anyone has any ideas they would like to share, or have something they would like me to put into written form I am also up for that where possible.
ALL discussions will be in the strictest confidence, no ideas will be pinched or twisted into something of my own, I like to work honestly and openly.
You know where to contact me peeps.
All the best to you all...

Well I have just hit my ten year wedding anniversary, I can't believe that ten years have flown by so fast. My darling husband took me for an amazing meal and I wore the necklace, bracelet and earring set that he had made specially for me. I had an amazing night.
The following day I travelled to Angelsey to spend time with my brother and his girlfriend. I always seem to get inspiration when I am close to the sea, so visiting them as always filled me with ideas. Not only that, but, I also got a chance to relax and take time out. Annoyingly (for them and for my family back home) i needed to stay for two days longer due to illness, but, I have to admit they looked after me pretty damned well. So a big thank you shout out to everyone for helping.
So, I have a few ideas to follow through with and plan out to see if they will work so watch this space. I will hopefully have a few new pics to add too.
On the scripting side, before I went away, I managed to write the scenes that I had been researching for a while. I will just have to wait until we all get together to see which angle we will take with them.
Until next time....Goodbye all!

I have come to the decision that the world is conspiring against me. Whenever I block some time to write, something always comes along to scupper my plans.
Despite panicing about when and where I will get to write properly, on Wednesday my hubby treated me to an amazing hot air balloon ride starting from Uttoxeter Racecourse. The weather was perfect and so were the views. I couldn't believe how smooth the ride was. It didn't feel like we were one thousand five hundred meters in the air at all.
I sincerely and wholeheartedly recommend this to everyone at least once in their lifetime.
For now, I am going to try and convert some hand written script notes onto the computer. With the initial interviews done for the cirrect information, I have a good sense of which direction my three characters need to travel. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
All the best to you all. I hope you have a spectacular week ahead.

What a remarkable week! I have learnt so much about people I thought I knew. I now know to be more guarded, but hey, such is life.
The script is constantly being tweaked, and it needs a lot of tweaking until it will be finally ready. we each have our own areas of research to cover but the most difficult thing is trying to share our ideas and make changes via the telephones.
I have been lucky enough to submit work to different places for consideration. One submission could land me a place at a writing workshop where I can get real feedback from publishers based on my novel. (and I really need to get the novel moving again) The other submissions were to Love Stoke's website. I am still waiting to see if they will make it onto the website as submissions need to be non controversial and positive.
Finally, next week should be my hot air balloon ride courtesy of my darling hubby. (if the weather gets better that is). I am planning to take my camera and revel in the glorious views.
My future plans include writing for Lee Roberts' Haunted Happening's investigation group in July where we will spend a night locked in Alton Towers. A further investigation will be a week after at Tutbury Castle with a different paranormal investigation team. I hope that there's lots to write about.
Well, I better go and get ready. My hubby is treating me to the cinema - bless him!
See you soon!

Well, what do you know it, I'm back. Much later than promised or planned, but non-the-less I am back.
These last few weeks have been a rollercoaster for me. The family wedding was absolutely amazing, the bride looked a dream and the groom handsome. The weekend ran smoothly and the kids recited their lines beautifully. I was the proudest mum there I am sure.
After arriving home, I hit a bit of a health slump which made me feel less and less needing to read or write so I took some time away from the old laptop although my mind never wndered far from what was waiting for me once I returned to it.
However, last Friday through to yesterday, Richard King and myself drove all the way to Burton on Trent where our good friend and collegue Amy Hall lives. For three and a half days solid from 7.30am to 11pm (with a couple of small breaks) we sat around a small table trying to script Amy's film. I am remaining tight lipped about the film for now but if we have our way this feature will hit it big and we will need some nice people to help make it happen.
Right, I better go because my mothering duties are required to seperate fighting kids.
Until next time.
