Well good morning folks,
How are you all feeling today?
I m feeling in a better mood although the sudden lack of activity with putting the books together has my body somewhat confused. I did manage to get a fifth book out last week that was for the paranormal team that I write for...it is a collection of last years reports with some other bits and bobs thrown in so I would love for you to have a look using your kindle or kobo devices.
Well, I am off for a bit as trying to find something productive to do. Take care everyone and be sure to check out the links on this site to see the books and more...thank you.

Well last night and today I have been ploughing through all of my old written material that i had saved but done nothing with. This has resulted in two more books being published via kindle. One is a childrens story suitable for the whole family and the other is a collection if adult-based short stories. This will probably be the last one published for a while unless the paranormal team I write for want their reports and things making into one.
What kind of things do you like to read?
All the best.

Hello to One and All,
It seems like I am always full of apologies whenever I post a news update and today is no different. I have been absent whilst finishing my auto biography (of my childhood) which I was lucky enough to get published via Amazon and Kindle yesterday. If that was not good enough I also managed to get a collective works of my poetry published yesterday on Amazon and Kindle.
I hope that you will find time to have a read as I have worked so hard on them both. The links will be on the "links" page on this site. I am already working on publications three and four so I am busy busy!
Anyway, after a quick clean up of the site I am heading back to the grindstone. I wish you all well for 2013 and thanks for following me.
n.b the books are entitled "Childhood Lost" (by me of course) and "Eclectically Poetic" (again by me - just incase you would wish to purchase my ebooks

Good Morning All,
Above is the picture of the Stoke Haunted team members who were able to attend The Silken Strand Hotel in Leek last Saturday evening for an investigation. As luck would have it there was a celeb in the building...Big Brother's first ever winner, presenter of numerous DIY shows and charity figure-head, Craig Phillips.
Not only did Craig spare us some time for this picture, but he also took the time to sit down with me for an interview and to record the opening sequence for our latest investigation footage. He was down-to-earth and lovely. He also became genuinely interested in what we do and how we do it. Bless him, he even pulled his friend and the manager of The Silken Strand into chat with us because he got excited by some of the photographs our medium Paddy was showing him.
The write-up will be done very soon and should be live within the next couple of days so please keep watching out for it.
Thanks so much to Craig Phillips, Terry Rogers and all of you too.

Afternoon you merry bunch,
Well, I have had a good day-ish!
Firstly I met with the faculty of forensic science at Staffordshire University to have a chat about what they had in mind for me to do during their "Crime and Wine" night in December. Thankfully it is not going to be a seminar styled gathering, (although I will be at the front of a full lecture theatre with three of my peers). It is going to be an informal char - well as informal as it gets when stood infront of 250 people. I will be one part of a four part panel who are going to share readings (Mel Sherratt - crime novelist) and compelling insights and comparisons from former police and forensic scientists. What I am doing there I here you ask, I too have asked myself that question and I also asked the faculty today. Afterall. I am not yet published within the crime market. However, I was assured that I would provide a good point of view from someone trying to get published and because of my film experience eg: working out suitable stunts etc.
Either way, it is going to be fun. There is going to be lots of other things going on at the university, mock-up crime scenes and lots of things for you to try and experience. Nt to mention the glass of wine on offer too. For £5 you get entry (over 18s only) and a glass of wine - so it is a good way to explore smaller courses and/or all the angles that crime knowledge can be used for.
I hope to see you there. I have also posted a new poem on "My Works" page called Good Vs Bad.
Thats all for now peeps as I have my blog to do for the whole paranormal thing that I do.
Thanks for reading and taking an interest.

Afternoon One and All,
I have just posted two new book reviews on my links page. Which book did I really not enjoy and which one would I recomment?
Aside from my reviews, I am still feeling mighty poorly. I am trying to keep busy and as always there is plenty that needs doing.
Despite my bad chest and sniffels I have managed to write another 2200 words today on the real life novel. Maybe I should have a look back at some of my criminal based fiction to see if it is worth me doing the "Night of Crime and Wine" night that is soon to be at the university...just a thought.
Anyway, I am a busy bee and have some Italian charm bracelets to make.
Take care each and every one of you.

Fancy meeting you here!
Well, I don't know about any of you but I definitely feel that I have lost a few days. Not lost exactly. More like slept through!
It is a weird sensation knowing that a whole 24 hrs has gone by and all you did is sleep isn't it? It is for me. I started out with the best of intentions on Saturday - ploughed through the day to the best of my ability ready for an evening with the Stoke Haunted team. Part way through the night/early morning, I began to rapidly feel unwell so packed myself off home early. I slept like a log and woke up before the alarm. However, I felt so unwell that I ended up returning to bed a mere hour and a half later where I continued to sleep the day away. Now that amount of sleeping is not normal for me anymore (since I have come off the super strong medication a while ago) However I just could not keep my eyes open. With the exception of turning over or having a quick drink, I slept right through until this morning.
Although I am no where near as tired as before it seems I am left with a lingering snotty nose and a general unwell feeling. I would like to extend my thanks to my little family unit for holding the fort and looking after me yesterday - it wasn't how any of us saw the day panning out. Today though, I have tried to catch up from where I left off Saturday day time. Most of the write-up is done from Saturday evening, but, with me leaving early I have to wait for the notes from the others who remained so that I can account for when I wasn't there. I hope the notes read more interesting to mine as not alot seemed to occur for our team. Hey Ho, it's never going to always be super active or monumental. However, there were a few firsts for us and those staff members from the venue, so, keep your eyes peeled for the write-up when it goes live in a few days.
Until then my dears, I am off for more tissues.

Good Morning All,
This is a quick news post to apologies to any readers who noticed that yesterdays' post had numerous editorial errors within it. These errors included simple points that I should double check before posting anything live. My spelling has always been terrible but those are easily rectified. I have never claimed to be perfect at spelling or grammar, they have always been a weakness. Yes, I know that is odd considering I am meant to be a competent writer. Desite my weaknesses, I failed to proof read my post before publishing yesterday for a number or reasons. Ultimately, the mistakes made were inexcusable. I hereby apologies for any failure to do the job correctly and thank those that have brought the errors to light.
On a lighter note, I have completed my write up for last weekends investigation. It will go live as soon as the team have approved it so please keep a look out for it. I am now off to deliver a custom made keyring to an old friend.
Once again, I am truely sorry.

Here we are again! Another week another set of chores...
I can't grumble, my week seems to be starting out quite well so far if I do say so myself. (quick where is some wood to touch?? ahh there it is...my head...all safe now)
My middle child went for his first film audition on Saturday and I was so proud. Even the director couldn't stop praising him and I know he is a guy who says what's on his mind from having worked with him before. We just have to see what he looks like against the other auditionees. The results could be some time as they are not rushing to cast the role. Either way it will be a valuable experience for him.
Aside from that, on Saturday evening, myself and the rest of the Stoke Haunted team went on location for an investigation. From occurrences experienced on the evening itself I have to say that I wasn't overly impressed, that was until we got back and the footage from the locked off cameras were examined. As well as having what appears to be some very good EVP recordings there also seems to be a strange shadow/thing walking between two beds which is about the size of a child. The team have tried and tried to put scenarios together to debunk this finding, but; as yet, we have come up with nothing concrete and/or plausible. This footage can be viewed at www.stokehaunted.com.
Away from the paranormal, I have learnt to create a new style of bracelet. What is particularly good about this new style (for me) is that it is just as much for men and boys as it is for women and girls. They can be as garish or as plain as you like. Much like a pandora, the links can be interchanged for any occasion.
So, what does the rest of the week have in store for me? Pretty much the usual. (I'm kind of boring like that) However, I do have to do the company books this week for last month - not something I relish as I will probably be in minus figures because of the mass ordering on the run up to Christmas. Hey Ho! that's how it goes I guess. What else? I endeavour to do some more of my novel again now that I am back in the swing of it. I am nowhere near doing as many words on it as I would like per month but at least I am getting some of it done. I have a couple of deliveries and jewellery items to make and finally Saturday evening will bring yet another investigation at another new venue. Busy busy. Saying that, most of my time seems to be sat on my backside where I don't move much. Trust me, this sitting around and concentrating on the finer details of things takes a lot of energy..well it must do...I'm utterly knackered.
What have you been up to this week? Please share.
Off to make the kids some tea, so I will chat soon.
Take care all...and look out for the write up on last weekends investigation which will be live in a few days.
