Julie Catherine Vigna is a freelance poet, writer and artist currently residing in Alberta, Canada. Writing and drawing have been driving passions throughout her life, which began in Dundas, Ontario, before she migrated to western Canada in 2004. She is inspired by the world around her, nature, and especially water – her muse and source of inspiration.
Julie Catherine’s poem, First Kiss (a Haibun), is published in the “Love Notes Anthology”; released by Vagabondage Press January 31, 2012. Her poem, Unremembered, was recently published in her local newspaper; and A Lushness of Mind won a metaphorical poetry competition. She belongs to several internet writing groups, including 21st Century Poets. She continues to write poetry and short stories regularly; and is currently working on her first fiction novel for young adults; a mystery set in Georgian Bay, Ontario. She is also a freelance editor, with two books to her credit to date: Legends Of The spectral Realms: Love, by D.J. Ebenal, published by Golden Tree Books, and Free Dive: beyond the blue curtain, by Stephen Francia, published by Smashwords.
